About the Role

Coderift is a product studio that builds fintech tools for European startups and scale-ups. We're bringing on a Full Stack Engineer for a 12-month contract to join an existing product team building a cash flow management platform. You'll work autonomously but collaboratively, contributing across the full stack from day one.

What You'll Do

You'll build features across our Next.js frontend and Node.js backend, integrate third-party financial APIs, participate in architecture decisions, and help maintain code quality across the codebase. You'll work in two-week sprints alongside a product manager, designer, and two other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship full stack features in Next.js and Node.js

• Integrate and maintain connections with financial APIs (Stripe, Plaid, Open Banking)

• Write clean, typed TypeScript across frontend and backend

• Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospectives

• Review code from other engineers and uphold quality standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of full stack engineering experience

• Strong TypeScript skills across Next.js and Node.js

• Experience integrating third-party financial or payment APIs

• Comfortable working in a fully remote, async-first environment

• Excellent written communication in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Stripe or Plaid specifically

• Familiarity with Open Banking standards (PSD2)

• Previous work in a fintech or financial services environment
