About the Role

Lumio Labs builds developer tools that help engineering teams ship faster. We're looking for a Frontend Engineer who cares deeply about performance, accessibility, and the craft of building interfaces that feel effortless. You'll join a small, senior team where your work has direct and visible impact on thousands of developers every day.

What You'll Do

You'll build and maintain our web product using React and TypeScript, implement designs from our design team with obsessive attention to detail, and take ownership of frontend performance. You'll also contribute to our open source component library and occasionally write technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build new product features end-to-end in React and TypeScript

• Own Core Web Vitals and frontend performance budgets

• Implement and extend our component library

• Write unit and integration tests using Vitest and Testing Library

• Participate in code review and help raise the technical bar

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional React and TypeScript experience

• Strong understanding of web performance and accessibility (WCAG 2.1)

• Experience with modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, or similar)

• Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones

• Clear written communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience contributing to or maintaining open source projects

• Familiarity with Storybook and design token pipelines

• Knowledge of WebAssembly or edge rendering
