About the Role

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to help build and scale the systems that power our platform. You’ll work closely with product and frontend teams to design reliable APIs, optimize performance, and ensure our infrastructure is secure and scalable.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and building systems that handle real-world scale.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs

• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences

• Optimize application performance and scalability

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Work with databases and data models to support product features

• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in backend development

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar

• Experience building RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)

• Understanding of system design and scalability

• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)

• Knowledge of Docker or containerization

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to microservices architecture
