About the Role

Helix Digital is a design studio specialising in digital product work for tech and lifestyle brands. We're looking for a Motion Designer to join us part-time to bring our UI and social content to life. You'll work across client projects producing animations that are purposeful, polished, and on-brand.

What You'll Do

You'll create motion assets for social media, animate UI micro-interactions for product handoff, and produce short explainer videos. You'll collaborate closely with our brand and product designers to ensure motion feels consistent with each client's visual identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce animated social content for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn

• Design and deliver UI micro-interactions exported as Lottie files

• Create short explainer and product demo videos (30–90 seconds)

• Maintain motion guidelines within client brand systems

• Export and hand off motion assets to development teams

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of motion work across UI and social formats

• Expert proficiency in After Effects

• Experience exporting Lottie animations for web and mobile

• Ability to work independently and manage your own deadlines

• Good visual design sensibility beyond motion alone

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rive for interactive animations

• Video editing skills in Premiere Pro or Final Cut

• 3D motion work in Cinema 4D or Blender
